Energy efficiency grants made available to Fenland landlords

A local council is lending a helping hand to landlords by offering them access to energy efficiency grants worth up to £8,000, a recent news report in the local media was able to reveal.

Fenland District Council has set up a new scheme called Action on Energy that offers funding to provide discounted, and in some cases free, heating and insulation improvements to landlords and works, on a first come, first served, basis.

The local authority has also organized a public event where it will showcase the advantages of participating in such a scheme.

The HeatingSave Building Energy Management System helps customers save more than 30% on their bills by optimizing any heating system’s overall functionality. This is done by taking into account a variety of factors, such as internal and external temperatures, occupancy, time of the year, the particular characteristics of installed boilers, etc.
