Energy co-ops are more trustworthy than large suppliers, consumers believe

New co-ops that are trying to make houses more energy-efficient, which in turn will slash carbon emissions and in the long-run save homeowners money, are much more trustworthy for most consumers than the larger energy suppliers, a recent news report reveals.

Most home owners are increasingly suspicious of energy companies trying to sell them big-scale changes, simply because they believe that these large firms most likely have some sort of ulterior motive or hidden agenda, that will ultimately lead to higher energy bills.

However, they still want to benefit from the advantages provided by energy efficiency measures, and smaller co-ops, who rely mostly on government programs such as Green Deal, for funding, are more likely to gain the trust of this particular customer segment.

In fact, co-ops representatives hope that such measures would also help the least well-off, people living in fuel poverty who could benefit the most from measures designed to help them pay less on their energy bills.

If you’re familiar with the Green Deal program and you’re already considering improving your home’s energy efficiency levels with help from the government and an energy co-op you really trust, then you should really take a good look at HeatingSave.

Our Building Energy Management System is approved by both the Energy Saving Trust, the Carbon Trust and selected by the BRE (Building Research Establishment) for the Greenhouse Project, which makes it fully compatible with the requirements of the Green Deal program.

Furthermore, the system will also allow you to save between 20 and 30 percent on your energy bills, which means that, in effect, with the help of the Green Deal programme, it will pay for itself, and ultimately bring you a profit, over time.
